In contrast, many competitors focus on reducing
cost at the expense of reliability. They choose
cheaper components, skip testing, and optimize
for warranty periods rather than long-term
performance. That’s risky. A failed tool changer
halts production, and in a robotic line, downtime
is incredibly expensive.
Our philosophy was – and still is – that the tool
changer should be the most reliable component
on the robot. It should survive crashes better
than the robot itself. And it should be easy to
repair, only if needed.
But none of this means ATI is overpriced. Quite
the opposite. Every design decision was made to
maximize value. We worked hard to keep costs
low without compromising performance.

That’s why today, in many factories, ATI’s name
is synonymous with tool changing. The product
speaks for itself. It’s earned trust over millions of
cycles, thousands of robots, and decades of 昀椀eld
experience.
Relentless reliability – that’s the real secret
behind ATI’s success.
